In the Andean Cosmology of Peru, the Chaska Mayu (River of Stars) is the Milky Way. The Chaskakuna are the Holy Star Nations. The Incas believed they received the energies and wisdom of the Chaskakuna via the stars.
The Chaska Mayu offered both spiritual and practical guidance from the Chaskakuna. Woven through this is a concept of a personal guiding star. This star that calls you when you look into the night sky. You have not chosen this guiding star; it has chosen you.
